Gold Coast Day 3

Mak aih! Awalnya tempat tok terang! Kalah KK! We woke up at 7am, which is definitely out of our norm because of the sunbright. We prepared our breakfast which of course included the bacon we bought at Aldi the day before. Sedap nye..

And off we went to Dreamworld, woohooo!!!

We bought our entrance ticket via online and it costs us AUSD69 a person. The deal we got was really good considering that this fee includes Dreamworld, Waterworld, boatcruise and Skyview of Goldcoast. The visit to the themeparks consists of 5 visits unlimited for 6 months ( If i remember correctly), which is fair enough since we have another 5 days to spend here.

The queue at the entrance was not that long. Maybe because it's only 8am. Or maybe because it's a school day (MONDAY)?

Spot The Hubby!!

Spot The Hubby!!

Ah, not that kind of tiger show like in Phuket.. teehee.. This is a real deal.. But we walked away after 10 mins because we were not seated under a shed. Plus Emily showed no interest, maybe because the tigers were too far for her to spot.

Good thing that the theme park management did not do restrictions on outside food. To be honest, the food price here is almost ridiculous for us. AUSD15 for a combo of just hotdog and soda is just too much. It's RM45 just for a person to eat.

The Hubby wanted!!

The Hubby wanted!!

The themepark closes at 5PM and we headed back home to Pacific Pines. I honestly did not really manage to enjoy the rides because The Hubby and I had to take turns and it is just not fun to queue and play the rides alone. I think I only played like less than half the rides there. Suggested my hubbby to come again to the theme without Emily which he agreed.

The night time at home was spent with Poker game. Win again!!

There there Emily. We had to use two cars everytime we are out because Australia is very strict with baby car seat. Lucky thing that the driver is at the right side, and the signs are all the same.

Aldi is a shop that sells food and daily products. What makes it so interesting is the bacon sell is only AUSD3.99 per KG! Crazy or what? hahaha

Gold Coast Day 1_ Part 2

Woke up at around 4pm and it was getting dark. So soon!? We went for the Sunset Mass at this Catholic Church 10km from Pacific Pines. THe church is lovely, I must say. Somehow I don’t really feel that “holy” (oh I just lost word on how to describe what I experienced). The comers were all dressed so casual, that The HUbby and I felt we were overdressed for the mass. The men wore shorts and Tshirt. Some ever wear like Hawaiian shirt to church. And the girls/ women were dressed like they just jumped out from house couch and just dashed off to church. I gotta say, I was quite shock. Of course some of them were wearing decent attires, but oh well, who are we to judge, right? The weather was quite hot, so maybe that’s why everyone look so laidback.

While driving back home, we noticed all shops and malls were closed. I asked my SIL on what gives and she told us that Australians are very family orientated. Australians get to go home to be with their family at 5pm sharp and this applies to the workers in the mall. WOW! I would really consider migrating here in the future, it this is the case.

Sad back is that we could not do any shoppings at night lah. hahaahhaa..

OK! Sambung lagi.. panjang lagi ni.
